STUDENT FOCUS GROUP

A student focus group to gather anonymous, confidential feedback on your instruction.

Our coaches will skillfully facilitate a focus group to collect information about students’ experiences in the course and identify students’ suggestions for improvement.

Steps to conduct a student focus group include:

  1. Meet with your instructional coach to discuss your course and identify topics for student feedback.

  2. Your instructional coach sets up a time either during or outside of class time to talk with all of or a group of your students.

  3. Your instructional coach compiles student comments and meets with you to discuss action steps. A written summary of the feedback is also provided.
